I’m glad you’re here.
My name is Anastasia (Ana Prem), and I’m the founder of Soma + Soul.
I began my yoga journey in my twenties, after arriving in India to train with my guruji, Bal Mukund Singh. I stayed close to him and studied for several years, immersing myself in traditional yogic studies at the Morarji Desai Institute of Yoga in Delhi. My education was grounded in the lineage of Dhirendra Brahmachari, a renowned master of classical Hatha Yoga, known for his precise, breath-centered approach rooted in kriya, pranic control, and inner discipline. His system emphasized the subtle mechanisms of the body and mind — a foundation that deeply shaped the way I practice and teach today.
From the very beginning, yoga was never just physical movement for me. It was a discipline, a philosophy, and a way of living with awareness.
Today I am a E-RYT 500 and IAYT certified Yoga Therapist & Meditation Instructor, Universal Healing Tao Instructor, Psychosomatic Practitioner, and Atmahealer.
Over the past 12+ years, I’ve taught yoga, meditation, and somatic practices in a wide range of settings — from clinical recovery centers in California to high-end wellness resorts, yoga studios, teacher trainings, and international retreats across the US, India, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
Today, I live in Bali, where I continue to teach, lead retreats, and support my clients through private mentorship and therapeutic sessions.
I am committed to combining tradition with innovation, discipline with compassion, and structure with intuitive guidance — always meeting people where they are, and helping them move toward where they truly want to be.

I created Soma Soul as a space
that respects ancient lineages while staying rooted in the realities of modern life — a practice that is as much about regulating your nervous system and supporting hormonal balance as it is about awakening self-awareness, spiritual power, and inner clarity.
It was born from my journey as a yoga therapist, spiritual seeker, and teacher working across cultures and healing systems, and from a clear need I saw in my students and clients: a space where the body, mind, and the soul are all addressed as part of one continuous, intelligent system.
This work is for those who are ready to move beyond superficial wellness routines and step into real, embodied transformation.
